Loch Lomond Highland Games Triathlon 2010
This unique race involves a 600 metre swim in the balmy waters of Loch Lomond followed by a multi-terrain bike ride of 12.8km.
The race ends with a 3 km run though the scenic grounds of Balloch Castle Country Park grounds and finishes on the home straight of the Highland Games Arena.
This is an ideal race for novice open water swimmers as the water is shallow.
The race starts at 10 am with a ceremonial rendition of Loch Lomond.
Wet suits are mandatory.
